Job Overview: In CLS (Connected Living Solutions) Business Unit, our purpose is to make our homes safer, more sustainable, energy efficient and smart in a world where every connection truly counts. We are looking for Senior Product Certification Expert to handle all the world-wide certifications for various product families in TE Connected Living Solutions Business Unit. Job Responsibilities: Business Unit PoC for product approvals certification activities globally Act as a project manager being diligent methodical and organized in carrying out the agency approval activities Excellent knowledge and understanding on the agency technical reports test reports specifications and procedures is a must Spearhead continuous improvement activities and cost saving activities Provide guidance to internal teams on the interpretation of technical standard requirements Coordinate with the testing certification agencies and lead them to a logical closure for all regulatory agency approvals activities Monitor standards developed review products and advise engineers to ensure product compliance Establish and maintain reliable records on all aspects of the approval process Resolve follow-up services and inspector variation notices from agencies Conduct training sessions on agency requirements and standards to internal teams Ability to multitask handling multiple projects and driving for project completion with multiple stakeholders Interact with global stakeholders and communicate technical details efficiently Cost down avoidance mindset and execute in actual product certification projects Be technical expert for agency approval team support and assist the product approval manager Key Job Skills and Knowledge: In depth knowledge of regulatory compliance process pertaining to electrical safety products and standards Strong understanding of engineering design practices and product development lifecycles Innovative thinking and continuous process improvement mindset Ability to recognize opportunities and propose practical solutions for improvements Excellent collaboration with global team members Excellent Communication oral and written and presentation skills Flexibility in learning multitasking and executing on a variety of certification tasks Strong planning data organization review and management skills A strong attitude of ownership of success and failure Customer focus mindset passion to work to provide excellent customer experience What Your Background Should Look Like: Years of Experience: 8+ years in Product Safety Certification Domain Educational qualification: BE/BTECH Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering Competencies: Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork About Te Connectivity: TE Connectivity is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
