Senior Construction Scheduling Engineer
Opportunity
Walbridge is seeking a highly motivated Scheduler to support business goals, collaborating closely with construction and engineering teams to develop project schedules. You will create and update schedules at milestones, add new scopes, and provide regular updates on project progress.
Location Remote within the United States with willingness to travel 70%+ to client sites.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with preconstruction managers, project managers, engineers, superintendents, contractors, and project services staff to provide detailed planning and scheduling from concept through construction.
Manage schedule logic, constraints, realistic activity durations, resource availability, and evaluate impacts of design changes and schedule delays.
Communicate schedule updates to company management and clients.
Engage stakeholders (Owner, General Contractor, AE, Subcontractors, Suppliers) and present statistical reports.
Track project progress through metrics, adjust plans to meet changing requirements.
Ensure quality assurance and integrate sequencing adjustments as needed.
Continuously seek process improvement opportunities through innovative technologies or methodologies.
Qualifications
10+ years of related scheduling experience.
Experience scheduling $50M+ projects in general, electrical, manufacturing, technology, or infrastructure construction.
Proficient in gathering, maintaining, reporting, and analyzing schedule data.
Valid US driver’s license, valid passport, willingness to travel 70%+ of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong time management, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Experience preparing progress reports, arranging meetings, and maintaining project plans.
