Credence has an immediate need for an Electrical Engineer at the journeyman level to support the Global Hawk and U‑2 Division missions. The Division provides high‑altitude long‑endurance (HALE), all‑weather, day/night, wide‑area reconnaissance and surveillance remote‑piloted aircraft (RPA) systems. Global Hawk and U‑2 Division is located at both Wright Patterson AFB, OH and Robins AFB, GA. The Sustainment Branch provides sustainment support to the operational Global Hawk fleet. The International & New Business Branch avails exportable versions of HALE RPA capabilities to international US partners.
Responsibilities
Provide system engineering review and analysis of assigned systems throughout the conceptual, demonstration, validation, engineering, manufacturing development, production, and operations phases.
Develop and/or originate new features in addition to improving, extending, or validating currently known procedures, data, methods, or techniques.
Assist in translating DoD user requirements into system requirements, which are used to design, develop, fabricate, test, and evaluate systems, subsystems, and equipment.
Review overall system design baseline, architecture, and interoperability requirements.
Assist in the development of system specifications and system architecture products.
Perform independent analysis of proposed engineering changes and specifications and provide the government with their evaluation and recommendations on the acceptability of vendor proposals.
Support life‑cycle cost evaluations on proposed systems and components.
Assist with test and evaluation support, including test planning, test conduct, and evaluation of test results against operational requirements. Participate in Integrated Test Teams (ITTs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), and other related system or program events.
Assist in scheduling and securing required test resources in support of project and program office objectives.
Monitor, assess status, and report on Test and Evaluation (T&E) efforts of all types of systems.
Assist in designing, planning, execution, analysis, reporting, and documentation during any phase of test and evaluation programs, including applicable certifications and procedures.
Support the development of system and program technical plans, including review of technical documents, participation in program or system working groups, risk and issue resolution tracking, and review of test plans, procedures, and data.
Requirements A strong background in avionics is preferred for the ideal candidate.
Active TS/SCI required.
Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university and at least three (3) years of experience in the respective discipline, with three (3) of those years in the DoD or other United States Government (USG) ISR/SOF Organizations.
OR, seven (7) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five (5) of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
