Production Specialist
located in
Buffalo Grove, IL. Reporting to the
Associate Production Supervisor , the
Production Specialist
role involves being responsible for a variety of complex operations and duties in a production area. Hours:
6:00 am -6:00 pm (Rotating shift) What a typical day looks like
Respond to machine alarms as they occur, identify the root cause, correct as needed Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components and return to serviceability Repair and maintain electrical controls on assembly Repair robot end tools, mechanical systems, and controls, calibrate and adjust robot pick and place points if needed Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams including complex automated system drawings Perform scheduled preventive maintenance actions on all subsystems and related components Assist automation team in the qualification process of automated systems Assists with customer presentations and interfaces with customers Records procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or method Maintain continuous system operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying automation/robotic system components Maintains software, documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications The experience we’re looking to add to our team
2-4 years’ experience in similar position Minimum 1 year machine troubleshooting experience Knowledge of and experience with assembly requirements Good communication and documentation skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Medical device experience is preferred What you’ll receive for the great work you provide
