Overview
The Boeing Company is actively seeking a Mid-Level Reliability, Maintainability, & System Health (RM&SH) Engineer for the Space Launch System (SLS) program in Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF), Louisiana, or Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Florida. The role supports design, manufacture, test, and/or sustainment of state-of-the-art technology within RM&SH. Responsibilities
Perform Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate risk of system failure and support proposed changes in design using NASA methodology. Review supplier submittals from an RM&SH perspective. Mentor early career engineers and analysts. This position is expected to be 100% onsite at the listed location. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry Experienced, Level 3: Typically, 5 or more years\' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. Lead, Level 4: Typically, 9 or more years\' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. Some SLS program experience Proficient in Microsoft Excel Ability to obtain NASA badge/access Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Master\'s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Relocation
