Engineering Requirements Lead
to work at our Engineered Polymer Products (EPP) division, located in Jacksonville, Florida. You will support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Research and Development (R&D) projects, and have the opportunity to work hands-on with the fabrication process for new composite and polymer products. You will be part of a team developing and manufacturing advanced, high-performance composites in marine applications for surface ships and submarines for the U.S. Navy. Position is onsite at Blount Island in Jacksonville, FL. Relocation assistance is available. Location

Engineering Technical Requirements Lead (EPP) — support NPI and R&D projects, onsite in Jacksonville, FL. Relocation assistance available. Primary Responsibilities
Work within an engineering design team to help ensure new products are meeting explicit design requirements Establish and track customer driven technical requirements for new product design efforts Develop and maintain technical requirements tracking matrix Participate in product design reviews to ensure all technical requirements are being met Generate documentation and technical reports to show objective evidence for meeting all technical requirements Product development focuses on composite part design and analysis for marine environments Requirements range across structural assessments, weight, fatigue, dimensional, environmental, etc. Development and generation of engineering product drawings and specifications Support and train quality assurance personnel to support first article manufacturing acceptance Interface with the customer to ensure product/process requirements are being met Able to travel domestically up to 5% Basic Qualifications
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field Experience reviewing and documenting technical requirements Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Must be a U.S. Citizen Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements Preferred Qualifications
Experience with composite materials and parts Experience with 3D modeling software, preferably SolidWorks Experience with GD&T Knowledge of mechanics of materials and basic mechanical analysis Experience with military product lines Our Advanced Structures team leverages advanced materials and additive manufacturing to develop complex interior and exterior solutions.
