Summary Under supervision of the Store Manager and/or Retail Management Team, the Production Manager oversees the production process and leads the Production Team, ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Responsibilities include managing the production area, ensuring proper merchandise handling, quality control, achieving production goals, and supervising staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee donation processing and merchandise handling.
Plan, schedule, and direct team work to meet sales and efficiency goals.
Manage workflow efficiencies and organization.
Ensure proper organization of the backroom for maximum efficiency.
Oversee quality control during all production stages.
Meet daily and monthly production goals and monitor stock accuracy.
Provide excellent customer/donor service and engage with stakeholders.
Ensure store performance aligns with financial targets and key metrics.
Maintain safety, security, and loss prevention standards.
Supervise and develop team members and volunteers.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED, plus at least one year related supervisory experience in retail or industrial management. Strong math, analytical, and communication skills. Must be 18+ years old.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks regularly. Must follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced, with exposure to various hazards and weather conditions. Must adhere to safety policies.
