$89,100.00/yr - $156,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Design water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities/processes for water and wastewater plants, and conveyance systems. Prepare technical writing, construction drawings, and specifications. Design pump stations including pipe sizing, pump selection, process facilities (primary, secondary, tertiary, solids treatment), rotating equipment, piping systems, valves, and appurtenances for in-plant processes and chemical systems. Perform hydraulic studies and related analyses. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. At least 8 years of experience in water/wastewater process mechanical engineering for municipal or industrial clients. Adjacent industries (e.g., food & beverage, brewing, mining, chemical processing) are considered if relevant process equipment experience is demonstrated. Detailed mechanical design experience for water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems. Experience developing P&ID’s in coordination with process control engineers. Professional Engineer (P.E.) License. Preferred/Additional
Hydraulic modeling experience; Experience designing piping systems, valves, and appurtenances for plant process piping (ductile iron, steel, PVC, HDPE, copper, etc.); Experience with rotating equipment and process treatment equipment; Experience developing plans and specifications; Experience with Design-Build, CMAR/CM-GC and/or EPC projects; Construction support services for water and wastewater projects or related industries. The base salary range for this position is $89,100.00 to $156,000.00. Within the range, pay is determined by work location and factors including job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
