We’re seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to lead the full lifecycle of industrial automation projects using Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms. You’ll handle everything from architecture and programming to panel design, safety, and on-site commissioning. Responsibilities: Design and program PLCs (ControlLogix/CompactLogix/GuardLogix) with Studio 5000. Develop HMI/SCADA systems (FactoryTalk View ME/SE) and integrate networks/devices (EtherNet/IP, PowerFlex drives, Kinetix motion, vision systems). Produce key project deliverables (I/O lists, drawings, manuals, FAT/SAT scripts). Oversee UL 508A panel design and component selection. Commission and troubleshoot systems, ensuring performance and safety compliance (ISO 13849, IEC 62061, NFPA 79). Mentor junior staff and standardize controls templates. Requirements: 7+ years of end-to-end AB controls project experience. Strong skills in Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, EtherNet/IP, motion, and safety systems. Solid electrical fundamentals and hands-on commissioning expertise. Networking knowledge (Stratix switches, VLANs, CIP Sync). Nice to have: TÜV Functional Safety certification. Experience with S88/MES integration, SCADA/data systems (Ignition, SQL), and scripting. Exposure to robotics, packaging, or mechanical automation. Seniority level
