Revere Control Systems . This position will be based out of our Birmingham, Alabama office with frequent travel to customer sites. Revere is a leading provider of automation and control solutions for various industries, and we design, build, and implement customized automation and control systems for highly complex projects. Responsibilities
Provide efficient, customer-focused support in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting complex control systems. Ensure successful on-site installation and servicing of PLC, HMI, SCADA, and VFD systems; escalate discrepancies related to customer requirements or technical schematics. Configure, test, and commission a variety of electrical systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and motor controls. Calibrate instruments, inspect equipment for quality, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers. Direct on-site personnel, complete safety documentation, troubleshoot field installations, and ensure compliance with customer regulations. Review control panel connections, promote service lines, identify procedural improvements, and use test equipment to verify instrumentation and system integrity. Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution. Three to seven years of experience in control or electrical field services. Experience with PLC/OIT/SCADA programming and troubleshooting. Strong customer focus and communication skills. Ability to manage time effectively and solve problems methodically. Proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to install or modify control system wiring. Travel and Location
