Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, and a Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering (required).

4‑7 years of increasing responsibility in geotechnical engineering, including experience in field exploration and construction.

Possess a Geotechnical Engineer license or Professional Engineer license with the ability to obtain a Geotechnical Engineer license within 1 year.

Skilled in seismic hazard analysis, liquefaction evaluation and mitigation, shallow and deep foundation design, slope stability analysis, and report writing.

Experience with healthcare (HCAI, formerly OSHPD), educational (DSA), and public agency clients is desirable.

Proficiency with geotechnical software:

Required: gINT, ALLPILE, CLIQ, LPILE, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office suite of programs.

Preferred: PLAXIS, Settle3, LiqSVs.

Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities and an ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is $88,000–$100,000 (negotiable). Salaries are determined based on geographic location and qualifications.
