University of Colorado Boulder The Li Group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Colorado Boulder is seeking postdoctoral researchers to work at the interface of materials science, biomedical engineering, and advanced manufacturing. The position will focus on designing and processing functional biomaterials for addressing challenges in biomedical problems, particularly challenges related to healthcare issues. The anticipated start date is January 1, 2026. Piezoelectric, ferroelectric, and other mechanoresponsive biomaterials and devices. 2D/3D printing and advanced manufacturing: intelligent implants and wearable devices. High-throughput synthesis and screening, materials discovery, and AI-driven experimental data analysis. Who We Are The Li IMPACT group is a young research group focusing on innovations in biomaterials and biomedical devices. The research goal of our group is to design and discover novel biomaterials with exceptional electrical and optical properties through 2D and 3D printing platforms and further apply these biomaterials to fabricate tissue-mimetic devices to interface biological systems and to address grand challenges in healthcare. Responsibilities Conduct research by leading projects, and assist PI in the development of research proposals. What We Can Offer The starting salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually.
