What We Offer: Competitive benefits including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans Life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match Generous PTO policy, paid holidays, and a company-contributed HSA Pet insurance and an employee assistance program for your well-being Key Responsibilities: Design storm sewer systems and manage stormwater as part of roadway projects Prepare detailed design reports, calculations, and necessary permitting documents Conduct drainage modeling using tools like MicroStation, GEOPAK, ASAD, ICPR, SWMM, and HEC-RAS Develop engineering drawings compliant with FDOT standards Perform hydrologic, hydraulic modeling, and floodplain analysis Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams for successful project delivery Manage client and regulatory communications, ensuring effective project coordination Uphold high-quality design standards and mentor junior engineers Ideal Candidate Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida, or the ability to obtain within one year Minimum of three years in drainage design and stormwater management In-depth knowledge of FDOT plans and design standards Proficient with MicroStation/GEOPAK; 3D modeling abilities are a plus Experience with ICPR, SWMM, ASAD, and HEC-RAS hydraulic modeling software Strong organizational skills paired with excellent communication and technical writing Please send a current copy of your resume with work history to chuck@libertyjobs.com for consideration.
