Overview
Youth Operations Manager - Bilingual Preferred (Redbird) The Young Adult Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, staff performance, and program delivery of youth workforce development services. This role ensures that programs meet contractual, organizational, and quality standards while providing effective support and guidance to youth participants. The Youth Operations Manager supervises staff, monitors program outcomes, manages compliance with policies and funding requirements, and collaborates with internal and external partners to promote successful educational and career pathways for youth. Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of youth workforce programs, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, funding contracts, and regulatory requirements. Monitor program performance metrics, ensuring goals are met or exceeded. Develop and implement program procedures, workflows, and quality assurance measures. Ensure accurate and timely documentation, reporting, and data entry into case management systems. Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff. Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to support staff growth. Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven work environment. Ensure youth receive quality case management, career readiness training, and support services. Oversee intake, assessment, and enrollment processes. Promote youth engagement through innovative programming and supportive service strategies. Address escalated participant issues and provide guidance for resolution. Develop and maintain partnerships with schools, employers, training providers, and community organizations. Represent the program in community meetings, events, and stakeholder discussions. Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate wraparound services for participants. Assist with budget monitoring and resource allocation to ensure efficient program operations. Participate in audits and monitoring visits as needed. Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership. Lead employer engagement strategies to expand job placement, internships, apprenticeships, and work experience opportunities for youth. Partner with the Employer Engagement Services team to align training and workforce readiness with employer needs. Maintain strong relationships with local employers to support career pathways and hiring pipelines. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Social Services, or related field (Master’s preferred). 3–5 years of experience in workforce development, youth programs, or related human services. Supervisory or management experience required. Strong knowledge of youth development principles, career pathways, and workforce initiatives. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with MS Office and case management systems. Position is a Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. The yearly rate of pay is: $65,561.60 per year. The position is an Exempt position.
