Job Description
Lead a small warehouse works team (6-8 people) to meet daily workflow throughput/output goals.
Will use available technologies to develop, disseminate and monitor productivity goals and coach for individual/team performance.
Will take responsibility for the health and safety of the work team(s) assigned.
Warehouse Shipping & Receiving includes: Receiving/inspecting goods and verifying items against the shipment record.
Gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method; recording received and shipped items.
Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data.
Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials; prepares records of materials shipped and bills of lading; routes materials to destinations.
May lay out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes, and prepare parts and tooling for special shipment.
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
3 Years of Relevant Experience
Work hours: 2nd shift 8hrs (11:30a-through completion, depends on order volume)
