The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: Self-motivated, task-driven, and able to apply “best practices” theory Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to create and execute field solutions Cultural fit to provide simple and reliable home technology systems that impress Ability to learn quickly and adapt on the go Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Profit sharing Training & development Vision insurance Job Responsibilities: Manage all tasks related to in-home and in-business installations Oversee labor hours and junior technicians on-site Supervise and coach onsite technicians Complete complex audio/video installations, setup, and calibration Lead and train junior techs Communicate with homeowners about solutions and upgrades Design control systems (lighting, shading) and install theater rooms Set up satellite/cable systems Perform advanced troubleshooting Design, install, and set up advanced networking and data systems Collaborate with programmers to commission projects Complete training on Crestron, Control4, Lutron, and Savant systems Support legacy and third-party products Understand single-room and multi-room solutions Commit to ongoing training via our online portals with CEDIA, IntegratedU, and manufacturers Minimum Job Requirements: Experience in project management within custom integration Strong communication skills Proficiency with PC and Apple platforms, multitasking within multiple programs Highly organized and detail-oriented Willingness to travel for out-of-state projects Proficient in senior-level technical qualifications Ability to use hand and power tools Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders Experience training and evaluating technicians Excellent desktop and mobile computing skills Clean driving record and background check (for DCJS certification) Minimum of 3 years field experience Note: This description outlines the general nature and level of work.
