Are you a strategic IT leader with deep technical expertise in enterprise infrastructure and a passion for advancing healthcare technology? We are seeking a Senior Director of Healthcare IT Infrastructure & Programs to lead the technical vision and operational execution for our key hospital client. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with high-level program management. You will lead a team responsible for the entire lifecycle of our client\'s IT infrastructure—from architectural design and system selection to implementation and maintenance—while also managing the program\'s financial health and strategic direction. What You'll Do
Develop and execute the strategic vision for our client\'s healthcare IT infrastructure, overseeing the entire program lifecycle from conception to deployment and ongoing maintenance. Provide hands-on leadership for infrastructure teams responsible for network architecture, server administration (Windows/Linux), cloud services (Azure/AWS), and data center operations. Architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure IT solutions, including EHR system infrastructure, data storage (SAN/NAS), and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V). Ensure all infrastructure and systems are compliant with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and HITECH, by implementing and managing robust security protocols, access controls, and disaster recovery plans. Lead complex technical projects such as data center migrations, cloud adoption initiatives, and large-scale system integrations. Manage the P&L for the IT infrastructure program, with full responsibility for a budget of $3-5 million, including vendor management, contract negotiation, and financial forecasting. What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing enterprise-level infrastructure. Proven experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure in a healthcare or hospital environment. Deep technical expertise in network design, server virtualization, cloud computing (Azure/AWS preferred), cybersecurity principles, and data storage solutions. Expert knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH regulations and their application to IT infrastructure. Demonstrated experience with P&L management, budget forecasting, and vendor negotiation. Preferred Qualifications: Professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, ITIL, or cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
