Project Manager - Industrial Water/Wastewater - Hybrid

The Opportunity The Project Manager will manage small EPC/Service projects, overseeing risk to cost, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities include staffing the project, leading multi-discipline teams, and coordinating activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and startup, including third-party contributions. Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days based on manager discretion, performance, and assignments. Key Responsibilities Manages small, minimally complex projects. Manages one to a few clients and/or projects. Obtains new/repeat business on small projects. Manages minimal risk. Team/Business Focus Black & Veatch’s Governments & Communities focus on infrastructure needs of municipalities, state and local governments, and specialized physical and digital infrastructure solutions for government and federal agencies. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements which may include: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, as required by law. Preferred Qualifications Typically 5 years experience. Work Environment/Physical Demands Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days. Typical office and construction environments with exposure to extreme weather, high noise, safety hazards, and physical activity (lifting up to 40 pounds).
