Position Overview

This position is a full‑time traveling assignment across the United States supporting sports projects. The role reports to the Project Superintendent, Project Manager, or MEP Manager and requires prior sports‑related project experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead, direct, and coordinate subcontractors and Turner trade labor concerning Mechanical and Electrical systems.

Ensure safety, schedule delivery, and quality of work while adhering to the project budget.

Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Interns, and trade labor.

Make decisions on scheduling, logistics, quality control, and staffing levels.

Resolve on‑site problems with procedures, design clarifications, labor, equipment, and schedule.

Manage the overall site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner standards and safety codes.

Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain schedule and budget.

Communicate with owners, architects, and engineers regarding field issues and resolve them.

Manage billing, payroll, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications.

Ensure mechanical and electrical installations comply with approved contract documents.

Coordinate the master coordination of mechanical, electrical, and piping layouts with all trades.

Lead inspections, start‑ups, commissioning, turnover, training, and punch‑list activities for system acceptance.

Direct subcontractor and supplier activities to conform with plans, specifications, and codes.

Review and manage project changes with the Project Engineer.

Maintain detailed daily records of MEP trade contractor progress.

Participate in preconstruction efforts such as constructability and logistics reviews.

Salary $140,000.00 – $195,000.00 annually (established at posting).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or at least four years of formal engineering or architectural experience.

Minimum of six years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience.

Knowledge of building construction, methods, scheduling, cost control, contract documents, drawings, and specifications.

Specific knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems.

Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) for coordination.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and schedules.

Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment Requires climbing stairs, ladders, and using hoists; lifting up to 75 lbs. The work site involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, and electrical hazards. Noise levels are moderate to very loud.
