Overview
Operations Expert-U at Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC. This role involves independently processing, reconciling, and balancing the assigned product per department policy and procedures; researching and resolving complex issues escalated from operations teams; and leading communication of resolution status updates. The role also focuses on identifying and implementing process improvements to ensure transactions comply with industry rules, regulations, and internal compliance procedures. Responsibilities
Complete all Ameriprise Bank related work, including posting incoming wires, sending outgoing wires, facilitating and approving money movements, researching and resolving open item exceptions, and handling Fed related adjustments. Perform audits such as PINS lines to verify IntraFi report delivery in accordance with Books and Records requirements. Review and set up cases for Certificate dishonors and non-brokerage bank returns; identify and set up cases to close recurring bank transactions for brokerage accounts with dishonored items. Assist in pulling and providing check copies to clients/advisors; work cases to reissue unclaimed checks. Act on the ONE NSF overdraft process to provide white-glove service to clients, notifying advisors of overdraft items requiring funding by 1 p.m. CT daily to ensure items are honored. Research and respond to complex issues escalated from operations; communicate resolution status updates to appropriate parties; identify and implement process improvements as appropriate. Ensure processing of transactions follows industry rules/regulations and internal compliance procedures. Support the required work schedule and hybrid work arrangement. Qualifications
Required Qualifications Education: High school or GED Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience; 3+ years of operations, processing, or customer service experience Proven ability to research and resolve issues with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail, ability to work under tight timeframes with accuracy Effective written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Product-specific or financial services industry experience Banking experience related to checks, ACH, wires Details

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $49,800 – $67,300. Compensation includes pay-for-performance components; most roles are eligible for variable pay and a comprehensive benefits program (vacation, sick time, 401(k), health, dental, life insurances). Equal Opportunity
