Overview
A manufacturing laboratory is seeking a full-time QC/R&D Chemist to perform testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. This role supports both quality control and research & development, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements while contributing to product development initiatives.
Location: Anaheim, CA • 1st shift • Contract to hire
Pay:
$26.00–$28.00/hour

Key Responsibilities
Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.
Perform quality tests on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods.
Conduct stability testing and monitor production batches.
Prepare and send samples to third-party labs.
Maintain inventory of materials, components, and supplies.
Record and analyze test data, prepare reports, and create documentation (spec sheets, COAs, OTC/QC regulatory documents).
Assist with lab-scale batch preparation for product development.
Inspect equipment, documentation, and products before and after filling.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
1–2+ years of experience in QC, R&D, or analytical laboratory work.
Familiarity with analytical techniques and instrumentation.
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Google Docs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
