Position Summary:
The Business Office Director plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operations of the business office. Ensures that administrative, billing, bookkeeping, payroll, and human resources functions are completed in accordance with all laws, regulations, and Century Park standards. Reports to the Executive Director. Qualifications: Minimum of an associate’s degree or equivalent experience Two (2) years of office management experience preferred One (1) year experience in senior services preferred Experience with Net Solutions, Point Click Care, and ADP payroll software preferred Primary Job Responsibilities: Administrative, Systems, and Planning
Develops and evaluates business office goals, policies, and procedures Maintains compliance with budget in labor and expense control Office Management Duties
Performs bookkeeping functions accurately and timely Handles HR duties such as new hire processes, orientation, LOA management, workers' compensation, and maintaining personnel and medical files Ensures confidentiality of documents and records Oversees cash responsibilities, including posting and analyzing receipts and disbursements Verifies resident account charges and statements for accuracy and timeliness Performs bank deposits as needed Maintains financial records of residents Manages billing system for monthly rent Assists with surveys, audits, and inspections Manages payroll functions, including timecards and related records Works with ADP to submit payroll taxes and related filings Processes 1099s annually Serves as a community representative for benefits programs Oversees payroll accounting and tax returns for federal, state, and local agencies Provides accounting support and training to department leaders Ensures accuracy of census data in the Electronic Health Record system Supervisory Requirements
