Soar Autism Center builds a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life‑shaping services. Our focus is early intervention, comprehensive support, and a play‑based model of applied behavior analysis (ABA) based on the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). This role is designed for students actively pursuing a BCBA certification and accruing practicum hours.
What You’ll Do
Serve as a case supervisor for 2–4 client cases (10–20 hours/week), tailored to center needs and progress.
Update client goals and programming using our electronic data collection platform.
Provide direct supervision to a team of RBTs.
Participate in ESDM‑specific trainings and grow your clinical skill set.
Write Behavior Intervention Plans using the Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill‑Based Treatment (SBT).
Conduct and write assessment reports for new clients and re‑assessments for established clients, including training in Vineland, QABF, FAST, and the ESDM Curriculum Checklist.
Meet with families to conduct Family Treatment Guidance meetings and support, utilizing Soar’s in‑house curriculum.
Conduct direct client therapy (15–25 hours/week), based on center needs and progress.
Receive coaching and feedback from the Partner Clinician and other BCBAs.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings with Speech‑Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists.
Who You Are
Enrolled in or recently completed a Master’s program for ABA.
Within ~400–600 hours (or less) of completing all practicum hours to be eligible to sit for the BCBA Exam.
Excellent time‑management skills.
Excellent rapport‑building skills with families.
Emerging skills in case conceptualization and client programming.
Emerging skills in coaching and supervising RBTs to implement ESDM therapy.
Desire to learn, grow, and accept feedback.
