Retail Intelligence Analyst Acosta Group – Full‑time, Corporate – Base salary $39,780 – $55,300 per year.

About the Role As a Retail Intelligence Analyst, you will turn data into actionable insights, shape strategic decisions, and uncover growth opportunities in the retail landscape. You will collaborate across teams to drive innovation in a forward‑thinking environment.

Responsibilities

Analyze retail data using tools such as Cognos, IRI, Nielsen, Spectra, and POS systems to support competitiveness and market strategy.

Interpret complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable business insights and operational requirements.

Recommend process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and proposing enhanced procedures.

Create and deliver compelling data visualizations that support decision‑making and align with current visualization trends.

Build ad hoc reports for cross‑functional teams and leadership on a need basis.

Continuously improve systems by evaluating current practices and designing innovative modifications.

Collaborate with team members to share discoveries and drive process innovation across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

1–3 years of relevant work experience in data analysis or retail intelligence.

At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, graphs, macros, etc.).

Strong presentation and storytelling skills using data.

Experience with ACNielsen NITRO, IRI Xlerate, Spectra, and proprietary retail systems is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organization.

Comfortable working in Windows environments and using tools for word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, email, and database management.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work collaboratively in a team setting.

Physical Requirements

Visual acuity and color perception required for data visualization and reporting tasks.
