Overview
Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $40.00/hr. The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with students nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make an impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.
Pay Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. You’ll earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student—reaching up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
Responsibilities
Tutor online using the Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
Provide personalized instruction in Project Management/PMP to students.
Match with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
Leverage the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time support, lesson generation, and engagement features.
Invoice for tutoring sessions; the platform handles payments.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
Expertise in Project Management/PMP with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
Prior tutoring/teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred.
