Resident Engagement Coordinator

to foster strong community relationships, support resident services, and enhance overall tenant satisfaction. This role connects residents to resources, coordinates events, and serves as a trusted liaison between tenants and property management. Location

Somerville, MA (Onsite) Compensation: Competitive Pay ($60,000+ per year) What You'll Do

Develop and implement programs that promote community engagement and resident well-being. Coordinate events, workshops, and activities that encourage participation and inclusion. Serve as the primary point of contact for residents seeking resources or support services. Collaborate with property management to ensure resident needs and concerns are addressed. Build partnerships with local organizations and service providers to connect residents with external resources. Assist residents in navigating affordable housing programs, benefits, and compliance requirements. Track participation and outcomes of resident engagement initiatives; prepare reports for management. Support occupancy goals by encouraging resident retention through engagement strategies. Why You Matter

2+ years of experience in resident services, community engagement, property management, or a related field. Experience working in affordable housing environments (Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC, or Tax Credit housing) preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a diverse resident population. Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple programs and events. Knowledge of community resources, support services, and resident assistance programs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with learning property management software.
