Client Solution Architects
Overview
Client Solution Architects (CSA) is seeking a dedicated Quality Specialist to join our team and ensure compliance with ISO, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) standards, and other applicable industry or regulatory standards. This role will manage the integrated Quality Management System (QMS) and proactively identify evolving compliance frameworks relevant to our industry, clients, and operations. This position is remote but may require occasional travel to CSA offices in Virginia, New Jersey, and California. Preference will be given to candidates located near CSA offices to facilitate in-person collaboration as needed. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance processes to support continuous improvement in Quality Management practices and project delivery across CSA’s corporate capabilities.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with corporate departments and accrediting bodies for new and existing Enterprise certifications.
Establish an annual quality plan that defines practices, resources, and audit-related schedules.
Communicate with all levels of the company and partner with various departments to champion the QMS.
Create an internal audit schedule, conduct scheduled and ad-hoc audits and assessments.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
Document and maintain process improvements to demonstrate the effectiveness of the QMS.
Manage the lifecycle of non-conformities with thorough investigations, employee engagement, and corrective actions.
Establish and maintain a comprehensive risk management program.
Conduct regular reviews of organizational and enterprise risks, mitigation plans, and management strategies.
Drive a Risk Management framework: identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks impacting quality or compliance.
Work with cross-functional teams to design, document, and execute risk mitigation plans.
Draft, revise, and maintain quality-related document procedures and policies.
Maintain oversight of the QMS Manual and document inventory reviews and approvals.
Prepare for surveillance or recertification efforts with ISO and CMMI documentation and artifacts.
Generate quarterly audit reports with actionable insights and follow-up on improvement opportunities.
Provide organizational engagement and awareness of the QMS through training materials and communications.
Develop tracking metrics and prepare monthly ISO management-review reporting; ensure quality objectives are clear and measurable.
Lead regular quality review meetings to discuss findings and progress on quality initiatives.
Requirements
Clearance: Eligible to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; 4 years of relevant experience in project management or quality management (preferably within the Defense Industry) can substitute for a degree.
3 years of relevant experience in audit-related activities (participant, lead, or coordinator).
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001.
Foundational awareness of information security frameworks relevant to safeguarding classified and proprietary information (e.g., CMMC, NIST 800-171, ISO 27002).
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
Ability to understand, document, and improve processes from inception to completion.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
What Sets You Apart
Knowledge of 20001, 27001, CMMI, and CMMC.
Certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM), CMMI ATM or Practitioner (or equivalent).
Experience orchestrating, deploying, and overseeing Quality projects and initiatives.
Demonstrated drive to develop quality initiatives and advocate for QMS needs during organizational growth.
DoD experience is highly preferred.
Salary Annual base salary range is $80,000 - $100,000. Salary offers are determined by factors such as location, experience, education, and skills.
