The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. This includes personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Personnel Management – screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on‑site staff; complete staff schedules; address performance problems. Financial Management – achieve net operating income; develop yearly budgets; monitor rent collections and vendor invoicing; prepare property closeout. Strategic Leasing Management – develop marketing plan, execute leasing techniques, respond to resident complaints, implement resident retention programs, show and move in prospective residents. Administrative & Maintenance Management – ensure accurate reporting, manage emergency team, monitor maintenance service requests, maintain property appearance, and manage resources and supplies. Education / Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four‑year experience in the housing industry, or equivalent combination. Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred. Basic computer skills; knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Physical Requirements
Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift up to 25 pounds. License / Equipment
Reliable transportation required due to on‑call emergency requirement. Salary Range
$30 per hour to $32 per hour
