Negotiate and formalize retention or liquidation workout solutions with defaulted borrowers to avoid foreclosure and mitigate loss to the borrower and the company. Ensure activities are in compliance with federal, state and local regulations as well as PNMAC policies and procedures. Analyze financial statements, loan documentation and other relevant data to determine the best workout solution. Conduct gain/loss analysis on loans to project potential future loss versus acceptance of a short sale or deed in lieu. Facilitate disposition efforts with borrowers, loan officers, attorneys, real estate agents, title companies and/or other third parties; follow up as needed to ensure closure of approved deals. Educate and counsel borrowers on workout options and the implications of each option. Obtain transaction approval by preparing a complete package for management review. Perform other duties as required and assigned. Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization’s values and culture. What You’ll Bring

Experience with first and second mortgage liens and short sale/liquidation preferred. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while speaking with customers or via email. Proficiency in Excel and Word. Why You Should Join

Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below. Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
