Job Description As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for determining project needs in conjunction with clients and other stakeholders to produce an accurate and thorough estimate of the work required. You will coordinate with in-house personnel, vendors, and outside contractors to develop a price-sensitive estimate, considering costs, materials, and personnel availability. Additionally, you will create and monitor budgets for awarded projects, manage change orders, and ensure all project documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Determine project needs in collaboration with clients and stakeholders to produce accurate estimates.
Coordinate with in-house personnel, vendors, and contractors to develop cost-effective estimates.
Create and monitor budgets for awarded projects.
Manage change orders and project documents throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop personnel timelines for scheduling purposes.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, timely, and complete for all aspects of the project.
Essential Skills
Project management expertise.
Experience in HVAC and mechanical piping systems.
Proficiency in BIM, commercial construction, and fire protection.
Familiarity with Bluebeam and Revit software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in related roles.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with field personnel, foremen, and project managers.
Preferred experience in mechanical engineering.
Experience in the construction field is highly valued.
Knowledge of freeze protective units is essential.
Work Environment The role is based in an office setting, but candidates must be open to visiting job sites. The company offers a family-like atmosphere, promotes from within, and the president remains actively involved with employees. Relocation assistance is provided for the right candidate.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85,000.00 - $110,000.00/yr.
Standard benefits include health, dental, vision, 401k, profit sharing, and project bonuses. The average yearly bonuses range from $10,000 to $20,000.
Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Sioux Falls, SD.
