Independently leads completion of sourcing activities related to New Product Development and Current Product in assigned commodity space, in alignment with the Global Commodity Manager (if applicable). Independently develops, implements and drives Category/Sub Category as well as Supplier Strategies for non-globally driven categories. Responsible for the commercial performance of the assigned category regionally for new and existing products/part numbers. Execute all procurement activities for all parts within the assigned category and for suppliers for new and existing parts, including: development and execution of the Regional Category Strategy, risk analysis related to supplier and overall strategy, supplier consolidation and cost reduction analyses, understanding technologies and production methods within the assigned commodity, supplier evaluation/onboarding/offboarding, and leading negotiations and tactical execution of commercial contracts (MSA, NDA, Quality Agreements, SOW, etc.). Quoting and Global/NPD Support

Manage quoting and negotiations for piece price and tooling cost, price changes, savings projects, and engineering changes. Globally benchmark regional current products for landed cost optimization and strategy development; globally quote all NPD parts and tooling to support supplier selection and project timing. Set quote information to engineering requirements to drive sourcing direction (cost, quality, timing). Understand detailed cost breakdowns and should-cost calculations to drive cost reductions with suppliers. Use landed total cost of ownership models for series production material to drive supplier selection and cost reductions. Lead supplier selection processes for both global and regional strategies on current product and NPD components; ensure adequate capacity at the chosen supplier and escalate capacity issues during series production. Consider inventory levels and collaborate with Planning/Scheduling for commercial solutions (including incoterms, MOQs, lead times). Prepare quote comparisons/summary, outline options, align cross-functionally, and present proposed direction to the SNC (Supplier Nomination Committee). Current Product

Manage ECN communications to suppliers and implementation. Manage cost reduction projects with suppliers, engineering, and quality. Manage all price updates. Support End of Life product phase-out (last time buy discussions, commercial liability). Resolve invoices. New Product Development

Manage quoting and negotiations for piece price and tooling cost, price changes, savings projects, and engineering changes. Manage supplier timeline of critical components for NPD. Issue/manage POs for pre-production parts and tooling to support NPD projects. Support PPAP activities with suppliers and Supplier Quality Engineers. Communicate status, risk, and timing to cross-functional project teams. Leadership Functions

Mentor, coach, and train new Sourcing team members. Drive continuous improvement and standardization of sourcing processes; lead projects to drive efficiency, standardization, and reporting within the sourcing team. Lead cross-functional teams through influence. Interacts cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain/Planning, Accounting, Project Management, and Logistics to support business needs. Acts as primary relationship manager between Wacker Neuson and suppliers within assigned commodity. Point of escalation for supplier-related activities for Planning/Scheduling, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Warranty to drive appropriate supplier engagement and issue resolution. Required Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related business program required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement/sourcing within a manufacturing environment required; seven (7) years preferred. Experience with ERP systems within a manufacturing environment and understanding of planning/execution processes is required. Excellent verbal, written and public speaking skills. Demonstrated results through negotiation. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to travel up to 25%, including globally on short notice. Preferred Qualifications

APICS certification. Prior use of SAP. Understanding/Experience with PPAP. Seniority level
