RECRUITMENT :
The State Highway Administration (SHA) is recruiting for the Transportation Engineer I- Traffic Track . This position is located in
Baltimore City, Hanover, or SHA District Offices statewide
and is open to anyone who meets the minimum qualifications listed below. This announcement may also be used for future vacancies throughout the state of Maryland for SHA. Nature of Work : This is an entry-level position. Employees assigned in the Transportation Engineer Career Program may be responsible in any of the following: assisting in traffic-related functions which could include the following: meeting project goals, developing alternatives, attending public meetings, evaluating design criteria against project constraints, performing constructability reviews, reviewing and designing roadway plans, performing construction inspection for proposed roadway improvement projects, providing traffic/travel demand information, and conducting or reviewing traffic engineering analysis. Possession of a bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, transportation or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university. Experience
