Manager, Scoreboard and Event Production
Target Field is home to a multimedia experience with dozens of displays, hundreds of TVs, and numerous events each year. The Manager of Scoreboard and Event Production will create content (graphic, video, animated) for a wide array of shows (Twins games and other events) and operate production gear to capture and distribute content where needed. A passion for baseball and using technology to create memorable moments is essential.
Responsibilities
Create high-end video content using the Adobe suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere) to combine video assets, motion graphics, and static graphics for use on all Target Field displays.
Oversee storage and archiving of digital assets and game highlights.
Manage production needs for Target Field non-game day events, including staffing, event support, and coordinating A/V requests.
Conduct ENG shoots (camera, audio, lighting) for press conferences, interview setups, and other production needs.
Operate in a control room environment with equipment such as Ross Xpression, Ross Dashboard, Daktronics Show Control, Acuity Switcher, and Dreamcatcher Replay System.
Coordinate with Broadcast Engineer to ensure equipment is functioning and maintained (updates, repairs, warranties).
Contribute to production planning, exploring new technologies to advance live production.
Assist in gameday productions as producer, director, or control room operator as needed for games and events.
Other production-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Experience and Education
3–5 years of video editing experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere (3D animation a plus).
1–3 years of live production experience, with experience using Xpression, Daktronics, switchers, cameras, and replays.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Working knowledge of baseball (statistics, game scoring, terminology, current roster). Knowledge of Twins history is a plus.
Ability to take creative direction, work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
Strong creative ability, listening and communication skills, and a positive, collaborative attitude.
Willingness to work long hours, overtime, weekends, and occasional holidays.
Preferred
ENG shooting, lighting, and audio experience.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling.
Compensation The base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 annually. This role is eligible for a performance-based bonus. Total cash compensation will depend on bonus payouts and may exceed base salary.
