Located in Riverside, CA, this Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) role offers an opportunity to provide vital speech and language services within a K-12 school setting. This leave contract position involves working onsite under the direct supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to support students with communication and language needs, ensuring personalized and effective therapy aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Responsibilities
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to school-age students in accordance with their IEPs Collaborate closely with licensed SLPs, receiving ongoing supervision and support Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents, including in high-stress or crisis situations Travel between multiple school sites during the workday as needed Maintain accurate documentation and participate in professional development activities Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field; AAS degree from an SLPA program also accepted Active SLPA certification/license Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple onsite locations Benefits
