Overview
A Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) is sought to provide essential speech and language services to K-12 students in a school setting located in San Bernardino, CA. This leave contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite with direct supervision from licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality support tailored to students communication needs. Responsibilities
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services in accordance with individual student IEPs Collaborate closely with licensed SLPs for ongoing support and supervision Maintain clear and effective communication with students, staff, and parents, including during high-stress situations Travel between multiple school buildings as required to provide services Adhere to onsite work requirements; virtual work is not available for this assignment Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or related field OR AAS degree from an SLPA program Active SLPA certification/license Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage responsibilities in a dynamic school environment and across multiple sites Benefits & Perks
