(an) Critical Care Float Pool Nurse .
What you will do in this role:
Assess plans and evaluate the patient care needs and carry out physician orders.
Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, monitor vital signs.
Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
Instruct and educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary care planning team.
What qualifications you will need:
Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing
Current Licensure with Kentucky Board of Nursing
Current BLS
ACLS within 6 months of hire
2 years of clinical nursing experience required
ICU RN experience required
