$32.00 - $48.00 Opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team to support and care for patient population that exhibit a vast array of medical and behavioral components. The unit will be space for patients that have a significant medical condition as well as a behavioral component which staff will manage. The unit will also be able to accept med-surg overflow and could potentially see a lot of movement in and out based on needs of the hospital. What we are looking for in candidates: Compassionate, adaptable and flexible to an ever-changing environment. Must encompass strong communication & time management skills, be detail oriented and exude patience & empathy, even in difficult situations. Have respect for and an understanding of how medical and behavioral aspects contribute to patient conditions, how they present symptomatically and how to manage both areas to promote best outcomes for patients served. $20,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates! Responsibilities Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and various other nursing interventions Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up along the continuum of care Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
