Occupational Therapist Pediatrics - Pipeline

Evaluate developmental needs including feeding, handwriting, and object manipulation. Plan and provide pediatric outpatient therapy for children from birth to 18 years, including those with complex medical diagnoses, sensory processing disorder, emotional regulation issues, autism, and feeding needs. Establish and maintain a safe environment conducive to effective team functioning, positive patient outcomes, and personal safety. Collaborate with staff, peers, patients, families, physicians, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality care. Incorporate an understanding of the child’s developmental, physical, emotional, and comfort needs in therapy planning. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited OT program Valid Indiana Occupational Therapist license or temporary permit Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an Occupational Therapist working with pediatric patients in an outpatient setting Experience evaluating developmental needs including feeding, handwriting, and object manipulation Experience evaluating and treating children with complex medical diagnoses, sensory processing disorder, emotional regulation issues, autism, and feeding needs from birth to 18 years of age; infant feeding experience preferred Knowledge of anatomy/physiology, evaluation and therapy techniques, current materials and technological advances, and current professional trends Strong communication skills to effectively serve patients, families, physicians, and internal/external customers Why Community
