Day shift, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Req # 182241, Biweekly Hours: 80 Position Purpose
This position administers prescribed therapeutic radiation doses to patients, prepares patients for treatments, and provides support, education, and teaching to patients and their families. It also involves onboarding new team members and educating students. Nature and Scope
The incumbent evaluates and prioritizes tasks, providing care based on comprehensive assessments for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include operating linear accelerators and simulators, performing localization, basic dosimetry, charting, and supporting patient safety and department protocols. Proficiency in electronic health records, skin instruction, and EMR skills is required. This role requires annual demonstration of proficiency in body mechanics, fire safety, infection control, patient safety, and CPR. Completion of core competencies and development ladder skills within specified timelines is mandatory. Disclaimer

Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program; must have working-level knowledge of English.
Experience

License
State of Nevada license in Radiation Therapy upon hire.
Certifications
AHA BLS and ARRT certifications upon hire.
