Overview Unified Mammography Services (UMAMS), a subsidiary of Unified Women’s Healthcare, offers in‑office breast imaging with top‑of‑the‑line equipment and expert staff. UMAMS is embedded in a network of affiliated OBGYN practices, providing patients an intimate, familiar one‑stop solution for well‑women visits and annual screening mammograms.

Location 8391 Commerce Rd Ste 101, Commerce TWP, MI 48382

Work Schedule 30 hours per week plus a week

Responsibilities

Perform 3D digital mammography imaging and quality‑control procedures.

Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.

Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.

Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic examinations.

Apply analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.

Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.

Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.

Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.

Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.

Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.

Adhere to and maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.

Additional Job Functions

All other job requests as assigned by the Mammography Operations Manager, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.

ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.

ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.

State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).

Maintain registry status and continuing education.

Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively in English as required by job duties.

Must be able to understand and follow safety instructions provided in English.

Role requires reading and writing in English to complete documentation, reports, and compliance requirements.

Ability to interact with customers, clients, or regulators in English as needed.
