Amerita, Inc. is a leading provider in home infusion therapy. We are looking for a Regional Nurse Manager to join our Nursing team as we grow to be one of the top home infusion providers in the country. The role will report to the General Manager and work in our location branch. Amerita is an entrepreneurial-founded company and a wholly owned subsidiary of PharMerica. The home infusion market is positioned for rapid growth driven by the aging population, increase in chronic diseases, robust pipeline of infusible drugs coming to market, and an industry shift from hospital delivery settings to lower-cost, high-quality alternative providers such as Amerita. As a core member of the Nursing team, you will oversee all regional nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, labor costs, clinical care and quality assurance. Continuous professional development and regular career progression discussions will support your goals. Responsibilities
Ensure that nursing services are provided to patients in a professional and appropriate manner and in compliance with company policies and procedures, state and federal regulatory requirements and accepted clinical standards. Maintain and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements across regions (including understanding nursing regulations in multiple states and ongoing updates). Oversee patient care coordination with Pharmacy staff and outside Nursing agencies as indicated. Participate in the branch Quality Assurance program, ensuring local metrics include nursing quality improvement initiatives. Monitor quality improvement activities and compliance to policies through QA tools and regular audits. Oversee hiring, competency development, continuing education, performance appraisal, supervision and discipline of nursing staff within the region. Coordinate activities of the nursing staff. Provide safe and professional nursing care to infusion patients, including patient education, direct patient care, ongoing clinical monitoring, care planning and care coordination. Ensure 24/7 day availability of nursing care via on-call nurses after business hours; oversee on-call schedule. Support sales staff in growing new business by accompanying them on sales calls to discuss clinical services and programs, contribute to development of marketing tools and programs, marketing documentation, and clinical programs. Develop and present in-services to referral sources. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice Three to five (3–5) years of experience in nursing management Recent (3–5) years of experience in home infusion and home health Extensive experience in IV therapy Current CPR certification Flexible schedule with availability to work on-call evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled Ability to travel within the region as needed for nursing program support and supervisory responsibilities Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Effective verbal and written communication skills Valid driver’s license and evidence of automobile insurance About Our Line Of Business
