Clinical Pharmacist

Hourly Wage Estimate: $58.33 - $75.83 / hour
Job Summary As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play an essential role in patient care by ensuring safe and effective medication use. You will monitor and evaluate prescribed therapies, promote optimal drug use, and support evidence‑based practices to reduce medication errors.
Responsibilities
Interact daily with the pharmacy team, nurses, physicians, and other facility staff.
Intervene in conflicts between Pharmacy and medical staff regarding drug therapy issues.
Provide medication information and consultation on pharmacokinetics, dose adjustments, laboratory test orders, and medication monitoring according to established policies and procedures.
Participate in the training of new pharmacists, pharmacy students, and technicians.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or Doctorate in Pharmacy from an ACPE‑accredited School of Pharmacy.
Active pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.
One year of acute‑care hospital experience.
