If you are selected for this position, you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.
Responsibilities
Utilizes the nursing process to develop and implement a safe, high quality, comprehensive, and age-appropriate plan of care for the patient and family that promotes optimal patient outcomes. Meets the educational needs of the patient and family and advocates for their needs. Maintains an environment that is safe, comfortable, efficient, and family-centered. Utilizes current research and evidence for practice to expand personal professional knowledge, enhance role performance, and improve nursing care quality.
Qualifications
Associate's Degree current employees hired before September 1, 2013 are grandfathered and permitted to continue in the direct care nursing role. No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training Bachelor's Degree Preferred for all direct care nurses hired after September 1, 2013. Direct care nurses hired after this date without a BSN, must complete their degree within 5 years of their hire date. No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO Employees must obtain multistate licensed RN - KS or MO within 90 days

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $30.50/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
