Emergency Veterinarian Wanted: Be the Needle to Our Haystack! Community Pet Hospital is looking for a part-time or full-time Emergency Doctor. We are a forward-thinking, general practice and emergency hospital with two locations in Thornton, CO. Our facility handles a wide range of patient needs, from urgent care to emergencies, and provides opportunities to perform surgeries with continuity of care across patients’ lives. Our 10-doctor small animal practice prioritizes high-quality medicine, client education, and staff development. We maintain a team-based approach with experienced support staff and regular DVM meetings to foster collaboration and growth. Digital radiology, digital ultrasound with telemedicine radiologist review, and digital dental radiographs In-house blood analyzers: IDEXX Procyte and Catalyst, I-Stat, Coag Analyzer In-house urinalysis, fecals, cytology; ECG, BP, SPO2, ligasure Two locations to serve our client base and accommodate same-day/sick cases Collaborative team environment and growth opportunities Generous compensation and benefits package What We Are Looking For
At least 6-12 months of emergency experience DVM or related degree from an accredited university Licensed in good standing to practice in the state of employment Commitment to high standards of medicine and veterinary ethics Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with hospital team Confident decision-making and time/task management Professional and courteous demeanor with staff and clients Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth Ready to be our next great find?
