Responsibilities
Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments to produce high quality images.
Guide patients through the exam process, addressing questions and concerns.
Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
Safeguard patient information and on-site medications in accordance with policies and legal requirements.
Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, and respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
You Are
Genuinely passionate about patient care; exercise sound judgement and professionalism in all situations.
Able to communicate effectively with patients, guests and colleagues.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work, and solve problems.
To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification
State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
BLS certification
At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred
