Job Overview WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a 13‑week contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Waterbury, CT. Day shift, 3×12 hours.
Responsibilities
Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life‑threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high‑intensity therapies, and interventions.
Provide support, education, and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience.
Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing.
Perform IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Current RN license for the state of Connecticut.
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience.
BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association.
