Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Nursing Director or Supervisor, the Mother Baby Registered Nurse (RN) delivers quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for the care of postpartum mother/baby combinations or other clinical duties as assigned.

Directs all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice and applicable regulations, incorporating patients’ age-specific development and cultural values into the plan of care.

Contributes to quality nursing care through process improvement techniques and multidisciplinary collaboration that demonstrates positive outcomes in patient care delivery.

Qualifications

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

STABLE must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

RN (Registered Nurse) license

Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
