Role: Sales Manager | Account Executive — BuildPass — Full-time, In-Person in Austin, TX, United States. About The Role
We’re looking for a Sales Manager who can lead from the front in a high-velocity SaaS environment. This isn’t a pure management role — you’ll be in the trenches with your team, closing deals while coaching them to do the same. You’ll lead a team of 6–8 SDRs and Account Executives, carry a team quota, and be rewarded on collective performance. Your impact will scale through the people you develop and the deals you help land. If you thrive on both winning and watching others win, if you can run a forecast meeting and then jump on a customer call, if you love structure, urgency, and results — this role is for you. What You'll Do
Lead and develop a team of 6–8 SDRs and AEs — set goals, run 1:1s, coach deal strategy, and build a high-performance culture. Drive execution and velocity — coach qualification, demo excellence, and tight follow-up. Volume matters, but conversion matters more. Sell alongside your team — run discovery, demos, and negotiations to model what great looks like. Own team quota and forecasting — run weekly pipeline reviews, flag risks, and course-correct fast. Build the sales playbook — shape how we prospect, qualify, demo, and close as we scale globally. Collaborate cross-functionally — partner with Marketing on inbound strategy, with Customer Success on handoffs, and with Leadership on compensation and hiring. Recruit and develop talent — help hire great people, onboard them fast, and coach them to excel. What You'll Bring To The Team
Must be based in, or willing to relocate to, Austin, TX. This is a predominantly in-person role. 3–5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including 1–2 years leading or coaching a team. Proven player-coach mindset — you can close deals and develop people simultaneously. Experience in high-velocity, short-cycle sales where speed and quality go hand-in-hand. Skilled operator — able to run effective 1:1s, provide direct feedback, and keep the team aligned. Strong communicator who can influence, motivate, and hold people accountable. Comfortable owning a number and making data-driven decisions. Team-first competitor — you celebrate wins collectively and share what works. Experience in construction tech or vertical SaaS a plus, but not essential. Curiosity about AI and willingness to experiment with new tools. Why BuildPass
