A typical day might include collaborating with team members to deliver quality transportation design solutions and supporting project execution.
Responsibilities
Performing design calculations, preparing plans, and directing schematic designs for FDOT and local government projects.
Using advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices.
Interacting with task leaders, team members, clients, and other consultants.
Exercising judgment in independently evaluating, selecting, and adapting standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Mentoring direct reports, and conveying knowledge to others.
Team lunches/breakfasts and social activities.
Must Have Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree, Civil Engineering
Licensed as a Professional Engineer
5+ years of experience with MicroStation (Open Roads) and FDOT procedures
Effective communication skills to engage with other employee-owners
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience with MicroStation ORD
Experience with Large Scale FDOT Projects
Advanced skills in specialized software programs
Technical Training Experience
