Overview

Engineering Project Manager - Atlanta, Houston, Auburndale. Location options include the Atlanta, GA; Houston, TX; or Auburndale, FL area. This role reports to the Engineering Manager - Capital Projects and is responsible for planning, executing, and completing capital projects within KIK’s engineering department. We are seeking an entrepreneurial and strategic thinker with strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet performance and quality standards while aligning with strategy and ethics. Responsibilities

Utilize engineering disciplines and project management tools to identify, define, and implement value-added solutions for KIK manufacturing operations and the organization. Partner with Pool and Household business division leaders and local plant teams to identify value creation opportunities. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using performance metrics (OEE), downtime data, and material yield variances to identify opportunities. Create and deliver capital project proposals to key stakeholders and executive leadership with detailed justification to obtain approval and funding. Build and lead multidisciplinary project teams, including plant operations, equipment manufacturers, contractors, and other stakeholders. Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and track financial performance; identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Identify risks and develop contingency and mitigation strategies to minimize delays, cost overruns, and challenges; address issues to keep projects on track. Act as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders (senior management, clients, regulators, vendors); prepare project updates and lead update meetings to communicate status, risks, and issues and maintain alignment with expectations. Lead and manage multiple capital projects from scoping through installation, commissioning, startup, and operation, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and resources. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Manufacturing preferred). Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, engineering capital projects, or equipment/process management in manufacturing or industrial environments. Knowledge of automated packaging/bottling line design and implementation (filling through palletizing). Strong leadership skills to guide multidisciplinary teams and suppliers. Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, tools, and techniques. PMP or equivalent certification a plus. Proven ability to manage scope, costs/budgets, and risks; coordinate resources and drive results; successfully complete major manufacturing projects. Knowledge of relevant construction/engineering regulations, codes, and standards is helpful. Willing to travel up to 40%. What You Will Get
